Jeff Beck has influenced tons of famous and not so famous guitarists. If you study Beck’s techniques and licks you’ll begin hearing his influence all over the guitar community.

One technique that I thought was really cool was how he slides on the same string in different directions. You can hear this technique on his Blow by Blow album from 1975.

This is not a lesson or lick using a physical slide. Instead, you’ll just use your picking hand and your fingers from your fret hand to create the slide.
