Shredding on the guitar is not a common thing seen in church. Lincoln Brewster, rock guitarist (Steve Perry) turned worship pastor, has done a great job of including tasteful guitar licks into his modern worship songs.

The guitar solos usually aren’t long but they do pack a punch. In this video I show you how to play the guitar solo for Lincoln’s “Made New” song. The solo is a whopping 18 seconds long but is not for the faint of heart.

The solo is basically two sections. The first section is straight forward but the second section will have your fingers tripping over themselves.
