While I was practicing I decided to tweak Scuffham Amps S-Gear to get close to the dotted 8th note delay that you hear on a lot of U2 songs.

My custom setting download is below.

The dotted 8th note delay can be tricky to play with. The thing to keep in mind is that you are just playing 8th notes.

Play straight 8th notes and the delay will do the rest!

The Edge from U2 uses the 8th note delay throughout a lot of U2’s most popular songs.

My S-Gear is version 2.54 with iLok at the time of this post.
